Stressless chairs, crafted by the Norwegian company Ekornes, are renowned for their exceptional comfort, innovative design, and high-quality materials. Introduced in 1971, these recliners were the first designed to meet the body's need for movement and support while seated, revolutionising comfort in the furniture industry.

This chair reclines smoothly and seamlessly as you lean backwards. When you want to return to an upright position, you simply shift your weight forward.

Stressless chairs are constructed with high-quality materials designed for longevity. The frames are built with steel and steam-bent beech plywood, ensuring durability and strength. Cushions are made from contoured high-pressure molded foam, which maintains its shape and firmness over time, providing sustained comfort during long periods of sitting.

This chair is a classic 1970s design in navy blue.

Condition

Overall this piece is in good vintage condition. It is fully functional with a smooth glide reclining mechanism.

There is some aesthetic wear which has lead to some variation is colour on the headrest, and arms.

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
We are in between premises, which means we don't currently have a collection address. Because of this we are offering FREE delivery on all items within the free delivery zone. You can check whether you are in this area in our ’Shipping & Essential Info’ section.

DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK
If you’re within the UK but outside of our local zone, shipping is £55. This will be organised with an external courier and should be within 14 days. Sometimes shipping ends up being cheaper for shorter distances (e.g. within London). If this is the case we will refund you the difference.
